ALS, 1787 May 10 : Philadelphia, to [Ann Thompson Gerry].

Written while attending the Federal Convention in Philadelphia, Gerry writes a letter contrasting the social life of Philadelphia with that of New York. This is a very personal letter in which Gerry expresses his love for his wife and his philosophy of love.
